Karma has been a topic of discussion for quite some time now. Even though it is not a new concept, it is something that new-agers have lapped up in the quest for furthering their spirituality and raising their vibration. But, what exactly is karma? And how do we create it? There are many misconceptions that revolve around karma, and this article aims to set the record straight. We do not want people to think they have racked up all this negative energy that defines them as a person. That is setting you down a self-sabotaging spiral which is unnecessary because we all have the means to rise above it all.

What is Karma?
One thing to understand is that karma is not a form of punishment or reward. But, rather a natural law of cause and effect that the universe lives by. In other words, every action or thought creates a ripple effect that is sent out into the higher dimensions, tying itself onto the individual, and any others involved. This ripple effect, or built-up karma, can be positive or negative depending on the intention behind the action or thought. Julia likes to describe karma as a balancing of energies. So, if you were to extend energy out in one direction, it has to balance out in some way. If you have gathered negative karma, it needs to be paid back positively.
Karma operates on a multidimensional level. Which means it is far greater than the physical realm of human beings. Every soul, or individual human, has a karmic record. Just like how the metaverse gathers information about us, our karmic record gathers all the thoughts, actions, and intentions that we have experienced throughout our many lives. According to the theory we at QHHT favor, it influences the soul’s next reincarnation and determines the lessons that the soul needs to learn in order to pay back the karma owed.
Paying Back Karma
Let’s say you and your soul family made a certain arrangement to play a specific role in each other’s lives. If you acted with any negativity toward that person, that is karma building up. This might be because the person lives by a certain set of moral codes that contradicts our own. Maybe their sexual orientation is different from yours, or maybe their culture and ethnicity is something you do not understand. Either way, if you were judgemental towards that person you built up some Karma. In this case, do not be surprised if you reincarnate as this person in your next life. The karma has to be paid back.
The universe works in mysterious ways, and we only work this out once we come out of each life we have lived. We finally remember the place we came from and the reason we chose each life we have lived. With this in mind, it reminds us that there are many different ways that karma can be paid back. Maybe you will reincarnate into a life where you end up serving the soul that you wronged in this life. This isn’t to say that you will be a slave to this person, or group. But, you might come back to support them, be there for them, and support them in their endeavors.
The Devil Did Not Make You Do it
Sometimes it’s easier for people to think that some external force is making them do things that negatively affect others. This is because we are inherently good beings of light. However, we forget this higher dimensional part of ourselves as we come into this life and as we commit negative actions against others we do not want to see ourselves in a bad light.
However, there is an empowering factor in realizing it was you that did it. Not because you can punish yourself for all the negativity you caused. But, if you can do all those bad things, that means you are capable of doing the opposite. Each of us holds so much power within our grasp, which means we can provide just as much positivity as we have in negativity. This is where self-empowerment comes in. Without this realization, we might just continue down this path of self-destruction.
How Is Karma Fair When it Comes to Children?
Many people wonder how karma is fair when it comes to the global struggles we read about in the news. With war on the strife and famine still wreaking havoc in many countries of the world, how can the concept of karma be justified when there are children suffering? Surely they are innocent? Well, they may be innocent in this life, but what about the endless amount of lives they may have lived?
Remember, this is not the first life they have lived, just as it wasn’t your first life when you were a child. To reincarnate here on earth as a human, you had to be a highly evolved soul, which means each child is not just a child. They have lived countless lives. In Julia’s words: “They are not baby souls. They are grown-up souls in little baby bodies”.
You might see them as a baby, and your empathetic side is triggered when seeing such a being targeted by negativity when they are in such a defenseless state of life. But, they have earned their place in the universe, just as you did.
Karma is not the easiest thing to work out. Especially because we come back in each life to pay it back in ways that are confusing to our human minds. We have made a quiz for you that may help you work out whether or not you have gathered any karma in previous lives that you might be paying back in this life. Answer the questions honestly and find out why your life path might seem so turbulent.
