Soul contracts are one of the most requested topics that we are approached with. It is the theme of a great discovery, and there are a lot of curiosities that surround it. We have spoken a lot about this in the past because it is closely linked to QHHT. Each one of us has a contract with multiple souls, and with varying circumstances and repercussions.

We are going to dive into this concept by discussing the different types of soul contracts that you might be experiencing in your life, or those that you have yet come to know. Not only that, but one of the burning questions we are asked during conversations about soul contracts is whether or not you can get out of them. Let’s tuck right into one of the most interesting aspects about this human life we have agreed upon.
We Agreed to Everything
When you are born here on earth, it was not a situation where fate put you there. Your birth, your parents, and even your name were decided upon by yourself, and other higher dimensional beings, before you were even conceived. Each event that happens throughout your life, no matter how insignificant it may seem, was preordained. It was there for a reason, and a lot of the time it is based upon an interaction with another person, which ultimately influenced you into making certain decisions.
There is no such thing as a coincidence, yet it might seem like there is because we are not meant to remember the contract that we agreed to with the members of our soul family. When something unexpected happens, it is easy to think that you had agreed to it if the result was desirable, but what if the outcome was a tragedy that left you traumatized?
Soul contracts are there as the ultimate influence on the decisions that you make in your life. Before you were born, you and your soul family had a “meeting” and together you decided what will happen in your life to inspire a lesson learned. This applies to the dynamics with your physical family that you were born into, what friends you make throughout your life and how they treat you, the boss you work for, even a random person in the street might have made an agreement with you at soul-level. Something they say might have such a profound impact on you, that it changes you forever.
When Soul Contracts End
What many people might not realize is that death is also part of the soul agreement we have with other souls. We are all here for a short while before we return back from whence we came. When our time comes, even if it were an accident that could never be predicted, that is our time, and our contract is over.
Death is simply another form of a completed agreement or soul contract. It’s almost like when you fall out of contact with someone, or choose to leave a friendship, that is also a form of ending a contract because you have learned all you need from each other. If someone dies, it means that they have completed what they came here to do, their contract with this life is now completed.
Soul Contracts Do Not Define Your Reaction
There is a common misconception about the topic of soul contracts. Yes, our relationships and circumstances might have been planned out, and we agreed to be catalysts in each other’s lives in some way or another, but you will always have the freedom to choose how you react. Maintaining a high vibration will allow you to act in ways where both parties learn from the situation, and you can move on from it having grown a little more for the better.
No good decisions are made in a low vibrational state. When something happens, and a big decision is needed, take stock of how you feel in your physical body. Do you feel anxious? Is your heart rate higher than usual? What else do you feel is related to lower vibrational emotions? When you are at a high vibration you are almost above the fear, a neutral state of being that allows you to see the bigger picture. You can regain your high vibration by taking a step back, breathing in deeply, drinking a glass of water, or whatever works for you. It is when you do this that you are able to make better decisions, without the feeling of fight-or-flight taking over.
Accepting the Challenge
As we have mentioned, we signed up for this life, but that does not mean that we signed up for an easy life. Our lives here on earth are all about lessons, and we cannot learn and progress without a little bit of a challenge. This is where those soul contracts come in because we made arrangements with other souls that they would challenge us, or we would challenge them. The more and more we learn, the further we progress, and eventually, the bigger challenges will seem less and less daunting.
Making a decision, or reacting badly in a heated situation is not going to help you overcome that challenge and it is left unresolved. If this is the case, some of us will return to new lives, on different timelines to relive the same contract (by choice) in order to learn the lesson from the soul contract that was not fulfilled in the previous life.
Final Thoughts
You are never alone in this journey. The arrangements with other souls were created by yourself, with the help of your spirit guides who are always there with you, helping you, and nudging you toward higher vibration decision making.
