When it comes to QHHT, most of us are aware that this involves hypnosis and getting in touch with our past lives. But, Dolores Cannon is not simply a past life regression therapist. She is so much more than that! By visiting a QHHT practitioner, you are entering into the teaching of Dolores, even though she has passed away, we are still benefiting from her work. She delved so deep into the world of hypnosis, with the help of many higher beings. They showed her some of the workings of the universe that our species, humans, have forgotten. She called herself a reporter of lost knowledge, and that’s exactly what she did.

In today’s article, we are going to discuss how Dolores managed to tap into all the various forms of consciousness. But, more importantly, how some of those lives were not exactly human-like. Some people experienced lives as plants and even gaseous components of the atmosphere. Most might assume that when we die, we instantly reincarnate as any other type of living being. However, when it comes to animals, there is a process that takes place to become a human.
Living as an Animal
Most of the world adores animals, even if the current state of affairs doesn’t show that. The few who are in charge care mostly for their greed, and so there are mass-production meat farms that have steered us away from working with mother nature, to working against it. This has objectified animals as if they are something below us. But, many of us were once living a life on earth, or another planet, as animals. Therefore, we cannot think of them below us. They are an essential part, not only of our diverse ecosystems but of our universe as well. Without them, we would not know the simplicity of love and devotion.
From a human perspective, animals have long been revered by many cultures for their spiritual significance. From the Native American to the Hindu tradition, animals have had many spiritual significances. They are believed to possess a unique energy that can help us connect with the natural world and gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the universe. Animals also teach us important lessons, such as the importance of loyalty, resilience, adaptability, and perseverance. They remind us of the interconnectedness of all living beings and the need for compassion, empathy, and respect. By observing and learning from animals, we can cultivate a deeper sense of spiritual awareness and appreciation for the world around us.
Animal Spirits Are Different From Human Spirits
According to Dolores Cannon’s teachings, animal spirits are not the same as human spirits. They belong to animal group souls, and there is a bit of a process to go through before they can become human spirits. But first, what does the group soul mean?
If you think about animals, they tend to move around in packs, herds, or whatever collective noun is dedicated to their species. They are very much reliant on their group for survival. This means, that if their alpha demands something, it is done. Every member of their group tends to follow suit when the command is given, even the alpha makes sure to follow through with the commands, which are ultimately in the best interests of the group. This is how animals work – in groups.
This is why their souls are also in group souls. They all stick to one another like glue and reincarnate as animals in each life because of this group situation. This is why it is not s simple as reincarnating from animal life, into a human one. There is a process that must take place, which Dolores was lucky enough to learn about. Furthermore, she was able to transfer those teachings onto us so we might understand how we may have come from an animal soul to becoming a human.
Becoming a Human Soul From an Animal Soul
As we have mentioned, animal souls work in groups. They tend to stick to these groups until they undergo a process to transform them into a human soul. Humans are different from animals because they have individualism. They can choose whether or not to respond to a command given by a superior because we have a sentient and overtly conscious mind that has the power of free will and choice. We can evaluate the best course of action, according to our life experiences.
In order for an animal to become a human spirit, it must go through a bit of a process. This includes extracting their group soul mentality and replacing that with individualism. They have the ability to refrain from acting purely according to instinct, or because the pack is doing so. So, how does this happen, and how do we humans have a part to play in their process?
Well, most of us have had our hand with owning pets. We let them live in our homes, eat the food we buy them, and give them a name. Through this, they gain a personality that makes them an individual in and amongst the rest of the animals. So, by loving animals, and giving them a name, they are better able to develop their personalities. This, in turn, helps them develop individualization and gets them closer to reincarnating as humans.
In terms of the higher beings, they take away the aspect of the animal soul that makes them work as a group. They strip that away and give them a personality that is entirely unique. This is the only way animal souls can become human. They need to be autonomous and respond to their sense of free will, as opposed to their loyalty and pack mentality.
